Trainee 

Trade4SDGs (Trade for the Sustainable Development Goals) is an initiative based in Geneva which is focused on mobilizing trade for the achievement of the SDGs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainee for a book project on trade and environment. The trainee will work as a clerk, typist, and researcher. This could be an interesting entry position for the field of trade, environment, and sustainable development with substantial learning opportunities as the trainee will work with experienced experts including at the ambassadorial level. This is a traineeship with a stipend of about 1500CHF/month. Working hours are flexible and negotiable (about 20-30 hours/week). This position is based in Geneva, Switzerland.

 

Skills & qualifications:

 

• the trainee should have a proven interest in the fields of trade and environment

• fluent English in writing

• master's degree in international relations, international law, or political science
